PB Centre was invited to be involved by the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection on 21 December 2021, in the discussion forum to propose a recommendation based on the UKRI project. The result will be compiled as national regulation in KPPA regarding migrant women’s well-being and left-behind children protection.

Publication Highlights

British Academy Research Development Award (BARDA) supported study published in the Journal of Population Research highlighted early age at female sterilisation and low fertility did not help women to improve their education or skill development… however, women are prepared to take up skill development that suits to their social and economic situation.. the study highlighted the need for governments to design skill development programmes for women who have completed their childbearing responsibilities
